Ashtanga Yoga: Ashtanga Yoga is one of the more rigorous forms of Yoga. This style involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures; a process producing intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. Levels I, II, & III cover the basic movements of the sun salutation and then progress through the remaining postures of the primary series.
Mysore- Ashtanga: This is a self-lead practice under the guidance of a teacher. Everyone works at their own pace. Beginners should allow 45 mins. For the practice and as you learn, you will require more time. Suitable for all levels, however we recommend that the student has some knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga.
Energizing Flow: An energizing and integrative flow that combines sun salutations, standing postures and floor work, while flowing with ease from one pose to the next.
Gentle Yoga 50+: A gentle yoga class benefiting those 50 and older. Some benefits that may occur from regular yoga practice are: improved sleep; increased strength and reduced level of arthritic and chronic pain; decrease in blood sugar levels; decrease in blood pressure; reduced weight gain; improved breathing, improved mood and reduced anxiety.
Pilates: This class focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine. Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and strengthens the deep torso muscles, as well as strengthening and toning exercises for the rest of the body.
Synergy Yoga: This traditional hatha series practiced in a warm room, tones, strengthens, and energizes, while continuing to teach the fundamentals of proper yoga, breathing and relaxation. You will leave feeling detoxified, rejuvenated, and refreshed.
Pre-Natal Yoga: Pre-Natal Yoga is designed to help build strength, openness, and prepare for the challenges of labour and childbirth, suitable for all trimesters.
Yin Yoga: This class is designed to open the tight areas of the body through long holdings. Focus is specifically on hips, hamstrings and the spine.
Yoga / Kripalu Yoga: Traditional yoga classes that focus on developing strength, flexibility, body and mind awareness and control while also teaching proper breathing, stretching, relaxation and meditation.
Yoga & Pilates: This class combines the traditional practices of yoga (all styles), including strength, stamina, flexibility, proper breath instruction as well as pilates exercises, guided relaxation and meditation.
Yoga Nidra: This is a deep relaxation practice for the entire body and mind. It enables you to eliminate stress and trauma, neutralizes anxiety, insomnia, and tension and is a very profound form of deep
rest. An experience unlike any other yoga class. Do not miss this chance to rest and restore.
